Our Story
When Ofir Savir, the co-founder of the Oncology Alliance Center, lost his grandfather to cancer, it completely changed his perspective. He gathered a group of passionate students, unified by a vision for change. Their collective efforts quickly advanced an idea to a student-led nonprofit organization whose mission is to support cancer patients and advance research. This team transformed their visions into a reality, developing a community devoted to care and progress.

Executive Director
Ofir leads the Oncology Alliance Center with passion and determination. He carries out the organization's mission with diligence. When not organizing initiatives or overseeing programs, he enjoys playing the violin and playing Rivals.

Dermot Lu
Deputy Executive Director
Dermot heads the organization's strategic efforts, supporting collaboration across teams and working closely with the executive director. In his downtime, he likes spending time doing math, playing the piano, and coding.

Achira ensures the smooth functioning of the organization by maintaining meticulous records of operations, ensuring smooth operation between board members. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and playing chess with friends.

Neil Puri
Head of Networking
Neil manages the organization’s events through the beauty of networking. He diligently manages all event aspects of the organization, including webinars and lectures. Outside of volunteering, he teaches taekwondo and competes in wrestling.

Director of Programs
Terence manages and designs the organization's central initiatives, including care packages, fundraising, and more. When not volunteering at the organization, Terence loves to swim, go to movies, and eat.
